In mid-2020, Arturo founded ValistiQ to address one of the key challenges facing legal and tax departments: doing “more with less”. This challenge, faced by legal and tax departments and often by other corporate functions, comes from having to manage an ever-growing workload. Internal clients are becoming more demanding, while regulation is becoming increasingly complex and constantly changing. Yet the resources allocated to these departments are not growing at the same pace. In many cases, they also face constant pressure from management to cut costs. As a result, these teams are expected to do more and more with fewer resources.
When Arturo founded ValistiQ, he did so with this challenge in mind, placing legal procurement at the heart of the firm’s approach.
